I have a client, her husband got sick, then she got sick...In the mean time she is  taking care of her nephews.  We started a short sale. We did everything that we were told to do in order for her to qualify to do a dnl. This was all last year.  We tried for a short sale for the required 120 days. We were told to have the short sale dept close the file so they could open the dnl fill. (When the negotiator closed the account she closed is stating the seller denied assistance.)
Now we are being told that she has to go thru the short sale process all over again because the seller didn't complete the short sale process.
I have called the CEO of BofA and twittered and no one seems to be able to assist my client. They keep telling me that she has to start the Short sale all over again... she doesn't have it in her nor does she want a foreclosure on her record.

Now for the question :) is there anything we can do? Or is there someone that I can show that we did what we were told to do?  ( I saved all communication with the negotiator) Has anyone done a successful dnl?

Thank you so much for your help in advance.

that is good cents ;) I have never been in touch with them... does anyone have their direct line or know someone there with a heart that can get things done or guide me in the right direction?

Side note... I love love this site! It has helped me become a successful Short Sale agent. Thank you!!
