The buyer just walked on an approved short sale with Chase. The negotiator called the owner, and offered him to do a deed in lieu. When I spoke to the negotiator, he told me that Chase will compensate realtors that help with the DIL.Is this true? Does anyone know what the compensation to the realtor would be?

Yeah... I thought there is no compensation for DIL... They will tell you anything to have you help them... or maybe the Chase negotiator just doesn't know...
There is no compensation for DIL's. I asked the bank.
