Hi Kelly, I just had this same thing happen.  I sent several messages via Equator to try and find out what the heck this was as well, but of course, no response.  I finally called Customer Service and they advised to just upload a blank piece of paper to close out the task.  That's what I did, and it worked.  Never heard another word about it.  File closed just fine.  ;)

Quick question for anyone that can help me with this.  We have received our Approval Notice from Wells and are scheduled to close on Jan. 15th, 2013.  I have received a task that simply asks: Upload Receive Recording Info Sheet.  The task was given yesterday and must be completed by today.  Does anyone know what they are asking for?  When I see "Recording Info Sheet" I am thinking it has something to do with recording the deed with the county, but I know I am wrong about this.  Why do the always talk in riddles?  Thanks for any help!

Does Wells Fargo had a generic 3rd party auth? If so, can someone send me a copy please?

Thanks,

Lydia

Well so good to know!

Thank you for all your advice and knowledge on the subject.  I appreciate it!

Okay, good.  It's just because they revised their forms.  You will probably need to update the hardship (just put the date of the Homeowner Assistance Form) letter because they don't like them older than 90 days.  Upload the new form, the hardship letter, and any documents that pertain to the reason for their hardship.  (whatever is checked in Sec 2, because it tells you what docs are required if you check a particular item).  If you don't, they will reject it.  Even though you did this a while ago, it is a new form and it is required.  They lack giving instructions!

Hi Celeste,

Yes, we have an approval notice already and are scheduled to close on Jan. 15th.   It is because we have already submitted the hardship, a while back, when I first submitted the short sale along with the Buyer's offer that it seems odd that they would be asking for it again after everything has already been approved.  So I am wondering why?

In Equator they do not tell you what they need until you submit the Hardship Letter for that task, and then the negotiator Rejects the task because you did it incorrectly.  I did it 3 times and they told me they would deny the short sale if they rejected it one more time.  However, never did they explain that 1) they had a new form, 2) that when you got the task for the "Hardship Letter" that that's what you are suppose to upload.

So, you said that you got an approval letter a week ago?  So, what's the issue with that?  Why can't you move forward with the buyer (I assume you have one) that you have so she can move to Colorado?  Am I missing something?  You should be able to close within 60 days,  WF has another form that all parties have to agree to close within 60 days of the approval letter.

The person from ASC is most likely their preservation company to be sure it is "occupied" like you said.

You received that task because they have revised their forms and the others are obsolete.  It's not because she is still living there.  But, you have an approval letter already, right?

Thank you Celeste for your help.  In Equator they are not providing me this new form, they are only asking for the reason for the hardship and a copy of the hardship letter.  I got the task this morning, and as I said previously, we got an approval notice a week ago.  My client was to move to Colorado, but what she thought was going to happen, did not, and now she will not need to move until 6 mos from now.  She is three months behind on her mortgage and there is no way she can come up with the money, so now she has to look for a place to rent, until she moves in 6 mos.  Wells Fargo had sent someone out from ASC, and that person left a business card in her door.  We did not update the hardship as I thought 'why rock the boat, she still is moving', but just not in the same time frame.  I am thinking they sent someone out to verify vacancy and could see that my client is still occupying the residence.  When I received this task, which has never happened with any of my other short sales, I am now thinking they want to verify her hardship because she is still living in the premises.  What do you think?

Kelly - yes.  You will need to upload the new form along with the hardship letter AND any documentation to support what is selected in Section 2.  I just did that on 3 of mine.  Congratulations on your approval!

Celeste, quick question.  I have received an approval notice from Wells on a short sale.  We are moving toward closing.  I have just received a task from Wells asking for my client's hardship letter, reason for hardship, etc.  Could this have to do with this new form everyone is talking about?
