I have a Wachovia Short Sale Listing in Northern California. I have offers to present tomorrow. The Seller's parents have stepped up and stated they will pay cash to buy the property for him in the Short Sale. When I told him about the "Arms Length" policy, he stated a while ago Wachovia asked him if he had a relative who could buy the home to save it. Of course I will be calling Wachovia in the AM to research this, but if anyone knows if Wachovia allows this, I would like to hear about it.
