Suntrust has both liens on this condo in North Hollywood,CA, package was submitted twice 10/22/09 (did not go thru) and 10/27/09 I sent via email, BPO appt 11/20/09, 30 days later. Negotiator assigned 1/11/10, 74 days later or 2.5 months later, Negotiator McTease has been assigned but unable to speak to him or email him, only customer svc will update when calling for weekly updates, Suntrust does not contact agent requesting more info or when they need info, I have to follow up weekly to find out status, last time I called 1/19/10 Negotitor posted that needed UPDATED paystubs and UPDATE estimated HUD. It pays to follow up, at least with my files. Today 2/3/10 submitted NEW cash offer, I was given a different fax# (804) 675-7399 not the same to submit package or set up team. I think is the Suntrust Negotiator direct fax. will keep all posted. Lupe

Just got off the phone with a SunTrust rep. My clients short sale packet has been in since the first week of December. The representative stated,we have been instructed by mangement not to give anyone any timeframes. The rep also said the days of quick approvals are a thing of the past. They are flooded with short sale requests, they are doing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac not justservicing SunTrust Loans. It's going to be a while.

Just got approval on a SunTrust short sale. First offer submitted early September, lost that buyer, submitted another in October, finally got approval today but they cut commission to 5% and refused to budge. Not a Freddie or Fannie loan, unfortunately.
