Can anyone else confirm a closed sale with Suntrust? I have been in contract for over 6 months and all we have is a BPO and that the negotiator should approve the file in a week and send it to the investor?? Please comment to ease my anxiety.

Paola, could you please provide some more detail? Property city? MTG amount? Sold for? Thanks for the info. It is nice to actually see some positive movement from this institution that is dragging it's feet in moving it's non performing residential assests. That came from a high raning executive who happens to be family.

I submitted a short sale package on 1/27 and received an approval on 3/2 closed on 3/30. It can be done. Make sure its a complete file include arms length affidavits and be differentiate yourself from the 80% of agents who don't know what they are doing.

Peggy we must have been calling at the same time. Derek Spinner is the negotiator assigned to the file I'm working. Same scenario file sent in December, took almost 4 months to process then it has been in the black hole while the investor reviews. BPO done 5 weeks ago. Have a CASH buyer at slightly above market value. Let's get moving folks!

Just tried calling SunTrust again. My negotiator was set up at the end of March for a case that has been in process since Dec 2009. I have his direct # and email and nothing. So I called the call old standby #. A very polite young lady answered the phone and said they have alll been handling inbound phone lines.I asked if she could check on any notes the Negotiator may have written. She transferred me to his voice mail ( again).

I'm going to take walk around the block and come back and try again.... :-)

It has been a 6 month battle dealing with Sun Trust Loss Mitigation Department, but, I am happy to say that we finally got the deal worked out on my Short Sale. Receiving the Short Sale Settlement Offer and Acceptance was like music to my ears today.

[email protected] - the negotiator may not respond to my email as my negotiator only sent me an email once when he was assigned and after that only phone calls until I received an approval letter - but please do call the loss mitigation department for updates. Hope this helps.

John.deberry is still the loss mitigation manager. He returned my phone call today, explained the current situation with VA compromise tied his hands as far as pre-approving a price.

[email protected] is the CEO..... [email protected] was the last loss mit manager that I dealt with, hopefully they fired him but it is worth a shot
