Can we stop foreclosure within 24 hrs from sale date?
I got a phone call from home owner yesterday (07/19/2010).
The home owner told me that the foreclosure sale date is set as July 21, 10AM.
I prepared short sale package all night.
And I submitted short sale package to [email protected]
(as posted ^^ -thanks)
and faxed to 2 different fax numbers( 804-675-7399 and 804-675-9407) of LM Dept today. I called and called,,,,, AND CALLED Foreclosure Dept to request to postpone foreclosure.
Guess what?
They sent email to foreclosure lawyer’s office to postpone foreclosure. However SunTrust hasn’t got any confirmation from lawyer’s office.
I called LM dept to check the status in every 2 hrs, I was told call tomorrow 8am again and call lawyer’s office.
We will see what’s going to happen tomorrow.
( I was told FAX number : 804-675-9407 is for managers.)

I stopped a SunTrust foreclosure 12 hours before the courthouse sale; but not only did I call the attorney, I called the Courthouse to check the docket to be sure the house was off the list. You can't trust anyone when it's this close. You have to check every single step along the way. Hope you have good results!
