Has Suntrust made any improvements in processing short sales? I would think that the large judgment against them last year in relation to loan modifications might have changed their tune when it comes to approving short sales.
I currently am under contract for a short sale with Suntrust.
who is worse suntrust or ocwen? I have delt with suntrust and dropped them they were asking 200k above market value on a home. Crazy? Supplied comps they still rejected it.
Barbara D. Hart's email came back undeliverable. Does anyone have a name and number to escalate to?
Seth I'd like to offer you hope on this one but I decided awhile back to not take on any more SunTrust deals. Ridiculous is all I can say about them. Good luck!
Has anyone had any success filing a complaint with Fannie Mae against Suntrust recently?
Suntrust has been a huge obstacle for the last 8 months and they are now pressing for a DIL...We submitted an offer 2 weeks ago that meets their last known net payoff from last month.
Suggestions anyone? F/Mae has my Authorization and a summary of my complaint..hoping it will at least get the Suntrust Supervisor engaged to return my calls.
I believe 100% of the deals I've done, they always state the buyer/realtor cannot receive any commission. I can't think of any thus far, that have allowed it.
List Agent still gets the entire commission. ie. they have not cut it in half on any of mine.
I doubt suntrust will let
the agent get a commission.
The buyer for the short sale is a licensed real estate agent representing herself. Will SunTrust allow a commission to her?
I've not dealt with Suntrust in quite some time and so far they still suck. I cannot get any return phone calls or anyone on the phone to even confirm authorization is on file. So far the escalation contacts listed here are not getting a response and John Deberry's bounces back. Anyone have current escalation contacts for Suntrust?
I have sellers who have been asking to pay a 40k promissory note- which is the remainder of the deficiency after the net of the short sale. The sellers want to know if this will then show up on their credit as "paid in full" rather than showing as a derogatory mark? They have still not missed a payment, and are obsessed with keeping good credit, so I believe this is why they were slapped with the promissory note. Any idea if this would show up differently in the credit report if they take on the full prom note?
