Equator/Bank of America
Hi everybody,
The Equator system should be boycotted by all realtors. To give as much information to Bank of America, when it doesn't really expedite the process. This is for the benefit of Bank of America solely. It allows them to have the information in the system for foreclosure and they can also solicit the buyer for mortgages. This system was never designed to handle short sales, but only foreclosures. It will not work and as realtors I would make sure that it doesn't work. I really think that these large banks need to know that without the realtor community they will have a difficult time making money.

Ty Darlene - I have been saying this for 8 months. This is a solicit the buyers gig too. Remax just signed a deal with Bank of America to receive leads of pre-foreclosure properties. Now, how do you think they are going to distribute these leads.
Its becoming a monopoly and could be an anti-trust issue. But who among us has the money to fight it? Boycotting now, or as I advocated last summer, is our only hope. -

Boycott is right - I've been on the phone for 2 hours this morning just trying to get someone to unlock the customer's password so we can download docs that they require; been transferred 5 times to people who say they can't help and then transfer again.
Help -anybody know anybody that knows anything????? -
