Submitted a short sale package on Aug 20,2010. Buyer offered $185,000 we have a negotiator as of Sep. 2 2010 he says they are considering the offer, I know that a while back Ocwen did not send out for BPO's rather would send me a CMA and wants  the Hud to have the borrowers middle initial and buyers address, My problem is this property is in a rural area and they want comps within 2 miles and no more than 60 days that is hard as this  property is by farm land so 2 miles is 4 blocks and they want 3 lol. I'm wondering if they are still wanting us to do CMA's?

Hi Selene - I've sold several OCWEN recently, and never had to do a CMA. They sent out for independent BPO's.
UPDATE: Ocwen negotiator calls me today to let me know we should be receiving our SS approval within 24hrs. Now my challenge is we have a sale date 10-08-10 and he says he cannot cancel it as they will not allow him to. Should I have the borrower send in loan mod doc. for the second time and if so will they cancel the sale?
I'd see if the buyer can close before 10-8~!
