Litton not doing short sales until November 1st??

I called today to initiate a short sale with Litton and they told me they are not doing any short sales until November 1st. This is the first I have heard of this, any feedback on this from anyone?

Lori, just add a clause to the purchase agreement or put it on an addendum. Buyer to purchase property AS-IS (if the contract is not already an AS-IS). Buyer agrees not to resell the property within 90 days.

I just received an email from Litton stating the following: All purchase agreements must contain a clause for purchasing "as is" and the buyer agrees not to resell the property within 90 days. Does Litton have an a special form or do they want the Realtors/attorneys to draw one up?

Leon, thank you for your welcome. I just listed my first Litton loan with a 2nd that belongs to OCWEN. I have been reading about Ocwen and am discouraged. Since I work for Titanium and dealt with Litton on that end, I am not worried there. However, I know I definitely will log in here and ask my questions. I see an old 'friend' Ben Benita is here. Hi Ben!

Well, my deal got approved.... and then a judgement hit title and now we are stymied. Litton is offering 10% of the $3700 balance to the company that placed the judgement (HVAC company). The company placing the judgement doesn't want to take it. Thoughts, anyone??

Acceptance letter "time to close" is based on:

1) When the next tax/escrow payment is due
and
2) When the next Servicing fee is due to be paid from the Investor TO the Servicer (ding dongs we deal with for short sales)

Litton -- they WILL give you as many extensions as you need, just need to get the right person on the phone (ESCALATE ESCALATE ESCALATE ESCALATE ESCALATE ESCALATE ESCALATE ...you get the point.
