I have a buyer doing an RD loan on one of my short sales and is asking for roughly 4% closing cost to be paid by the seller. Does Freddie Mac allow more than 3% seller concessions with an RD loan?Continue

Thanks Kevin, so its Fannie Mae that will do 8% op to 6k whichever is less or 8500 if its HAFA, do you know?
it's up to $6000. there is no % amount per se.
Hello, does anyone know if Freddie mac pay 8% of the UPB or 8% of the total balance due to a junior lien? I think its up to 6k. Does anyone know the specifics? thanks a million!
Will Freddie Mac pay a seller's relocation incentive on a vacant owner occuppied Home? I can't seem to find the FM eligibility requirements for relocation assistance.
Nationstar says no way, but they also dragged their feet since July 2013 and seller's hardship was job relocation which forced them to vacate out o state.Thx- Bob
she never was on title but an affidavit of decent would put her on title. We just haven't filed it
I have not specifically had this problem with FHLMC and know that sevicers take liberties in telling you what the investor won't do. Call Freddie and discuss it with them. I assume that the house went to the widow, or like in NJ, by law, she now owns it, in which case, the OWNER IS in the property. But also, I've had discussions not at Chase about getting the $3K moving money to tenants, obviously not the owners. However, as I said, did not run into this with Freddie, so even though others are reasonable, maybe Freddie is not? Call them.
Neil,
Is the wife still on title?
Has anyone ever had the lender say that they only pay JR Liens that are Mortgages, and will not pay HOA judgments? That's what chase is telling us..
Freddie Mac Incentive: Seller deceased, wife survived him. She's not on the loan but lives in the house. Chase is saying freddie mac will not pay the 3k incentive because the "owner" is not living in the house... has anyone gotten around this before?
