I saw in another forum that the listing agent can send in the Broker Price Opinion with the package, but it has to be on AHMSI's form.  I can't find the form on their website.  Does anyone have a copy I can use?

Thanks for all the help in the forum.  I'm optimistic (at least at the start!)

Dave,

You can send in whatever you wish but they will not make decisions based on that bpo value.. they will order their own appraiser's/bpo. If the buyers offer comes in lower then a desk review is ordered.

The best way to support a lower value is to provide multiple contractor bids for repairs to justify a lower price with photos and your suggestion.

Hope that helps.

Trinidad,
thanks. I saw in another forum that "a" BPO could be submitted by the listing agent -but that it had to be on AMHSI's form otherwise they just toss it.
We've got an offer and I'm putting the package together to submit. That (the BPO) showed up as one of the required elements for the package submission.
I understand your point about multiple contractor bids...thanks.
Always, Always, Always send your own BPO when you submit the short sale pacakge. You can google Fannie Mae BPO form to get the form
