Here is the scenario....
Have short sale with 2 outstanding liens. Obtained approval from first lender for short sale.
Second lender CitiBank stated they charged theirs off and stated it was sent back to Fannie Mae. ??
Well needless to say Fannie Mae said they do not own it and CitiBank we have called collection, recovery, etc. department and not gotten anywhere with this.
Our attorney called also to no avail.
Customer filed bankruptcy in 2010 and so Citi charged it off...we have asked for them to Satisfy the lien and they will not.....
Does anyone have any suggestions??

I DO have someone who can help you.... You can call the Citi recovery dept. again 800-824-9907....it takes several days in recovery before it's issued somewhere else. 2 collection companies that work Citi 2nd liens are ACI and Alliance One...
ACI number is 877-255-6382 and Alliance One is 866-672-3308. Carrington bought most of the 1st liens..that were non performing... I have not heard they bought ANY 2ND LIENS AT ALL.
Try this...these are 2 large companies handling tons of Citi charge offs on the 2nds...if u cannot get your answers...call me direct at 310-429-4170 or email me at shy@shysells.com and I can get u right to the head person at Citi who WILL be able to help you and locate where this went. I cannot publish that information on here. thanks Shy
