Anyone had experience working with Charter One Short Sale dept.? I have called and left several messages to try and speak with someone in short sales but no return calls. I can't even get an email address to send.
The first approval letter will expire in 2 weeks and I'm trying to make contact with Charter One short sale dept.. If you have a contact I would appreciate you forwarding.

Hi Cindy, I'm in your shoes as of July 15, 2011. Charter One is my junior and have received their "generic" approval letter. In your case, were you able to find out if they were releasing the deficiency?
-- If they were releasing, was this stated somewhere in the closing documents?
-- If not, what did you do (or are doing) to come to terms on releasing the deficiency.
Thanks much.

I am working with a charter one second right now. They are slower than dirt.
I did get a really nice gal who gave me her email. The rest of the customer service are drones.

I've had a complete short sale package submitted to Citizens for over 9 months and still don't have a negotiator. This bank is the worst i've ever delt with. Has anybody had this problem, and found a way around it?
I found out Charter One is now Citizens Bank. Try this number 888-492-1234. This is the short sale/bankruptcy dept.
Let me tell you up front they have not been easy to work with. I've spoken with Tobie Woods and David Braz there.
Hope this information helps. Good luck!
