My Profile
Wow, this feels awkward to talk about myself!

Of course, I am more than just a Realtor - although for many years I had a goal to become a Realtor, I stayed the course for 38 years in civil service to earn that coveted pension. This benefits both my clients and myself because I have the comfort of a steady pension and not be one of those pushy realtors trying to 'survive'. My primary style of working is client referrals which allows me to devote much more time with my clients instead of 75% of my time spent marketing by cold calls, door knocking, etc.

I'm always interested in learning what kind of work my clients are involved in and learning how they arrived at that type of work...and what their "job goal" or "dream job" would be if they could make any job change. Because of my longevity in civil service, I was fortunate to do a variety of positions before coming to real estate...some of my most interesting positions were working as an officer in the CA prison system, Criminal ID Specialist in the Dept. of Justice Command Center for the entire state, Program Analyst inspecting non-medical alcohol/drug treatment facilities, and Analyst in the Victims of Crime Compensation Program. With such diverse work fields and loving my jobs, it was easy to stay the course until I could become a Realtor.

Personally, I have been both widowed (due to a drunk driver) and divorced. I have one adult son, Daniel, and one awesome, smart, #1 person in my life, handsome grandson...Michael. Can you guess Michael is the 'light of my life'? Michael keeps grandma (me) busy with his band competitions, concerts, summer camps, and whatever else he can think of. Michael plays a mean trombone.

I do manage some personal time for myself for interests...which most of you adventually hear about as we spend time together viewing homes and at my "pop bys". My main interests are an annual MEDICAL MISSION IN GUATEMALA, spending time with friends, volunteer wtih disaster relief teams, annual trip with family to the Oregon or California coast, local community work thru my church, reality TV, reading, and SINGLES CRUISING. I am asked a lot of questions about the medical mission work and the singles cruising, so here are the websites to check them out for yourself: http://www.healthtalents.org/ , http://www.vacationstogo.com/ (singles cruises hosted), http://www.singlescruise.com/

Oh yes, about real estate...I am a FULL TIME Realtor that is Five-Star Short Sale and REO Certified, but definately injoy the traditional (regular) home sales. I feel great joy when I can hand my Buyer clients the key to their new home or succcessfully help my Seller clients complete their sale transaction as smoothly as possible.

I am pretty much an "open book" kind of person...just ask me most anything and we'll have a chat !
