I really need your help with Escalation on this WF FHA file. The husband was killed in a motorcycle accident in Nov. Homeowner called in and Short sale was inintiated in Equator on  5/25  A complete package with offer was submitted! Processor moved it outside Equator 6/13.  Appraisal was received; waiting on title report.  Death Certificate was submitted along with hardship letter stating his death; also a seperate letter stating why NO Pay Stubs for main borrower as deceased. On 7/2 Found out the Processor closed the file as did not have Pay Stubs for main borrower. UNBELIEVABLE...apparently couldn't see the Death Certificate or all the times the death was referred to!  We have made multiple calls in to get the file set back up by FHA; we were checking every other day. Found out on 7/13 that they couldn't find the Death Certificate; we Faxed it in to a new fax no. they gave us and the short sale dept.  The File is still not set back up by FHA dept. Facing a Foreclosure sale date of August 31st. Please give me your advice & escalation contacts would be so appreciated!  Thanks  Pam

When I had a deseperation deal (nothing as heart-wrenchiing as yours) about 6 weeks ago, one WF contact told me to call Wells’s “Realtor Hotline.”  It worked, they received a fax and put off a TS with 24 hours to go.

The number is (877) 841 5301.

I'm saying my prayers right now!

Awesome...Thank you so much!

Another option is to get communication to the work center supervisor so the file can get escalated and an approved processor assigned to work it outside of Equator. Apparently only designated processors are allowed to work it outside of Equator with the workcenter supervisor's approval so not sure if your processor got the approval to do so. They do have to close the file out in Equator or it continues to send erroneous automated messages & confuses the whole process.

Somewhere in your  Equator emails should be the work center supervisor name & email and a phone number. I had to dig deep in Equator emails to find it amidst all the various processors emails. You can also call the SS Dept and ask for the work center supervisor's contact info you might get someone who gives it to you right away. I had to call a few times for several days until I got a person who would provide me the email address and a phone number. Some of the CS people that answer the phones can be very rude and nasty so be patient and persistent.

Best of Luck!  //Rosa

Thank you!!! I appreciate all the angles...and digging we do!
