Definately call Wells Fargo and ask for the Escalation dept. I have a phone number I have used: 866-919-3940 I think it may be the escalation/liquidation dept, but after I spoke to someone there I got a call back in two hours from the negotiator! Good luck. Here is a phone number for the HUD call center too: 877-622-8525 I'm not sure how much they can help, as I've not had to use the number yet. Also try Helpwithmybank.gov (where youcan file a complaint) or contact the lender's atty, they only use one company here in Illinois, check on the county's sherrif sale calender for the location the home is in and it may have the name of the atty/trustee (realty trac has this info too sometimes) I know how frustrating this is to watch the bank destroy all the hard work you have done and financially ruin a family when they have the power to save the home from foreclosure. I highly recommend calling the Wells Fargo Executive Resolution Department.  They will often resolve the issue while you are on the phone.  (800) 853-8513

Excellent suggestion...glad you had the number to pass on to her (and all of us) I am saving that number for future reference!
