I have a client with the first lienholder as ASC and we are going through the Equator system.  We have been assigned a negotiator on Sept 2nd and I have yet to hear from them or able to communicate with them.  Apparently, the negotiator was given a task to compare the offer with the Investor's rules and what they are willing to take, however that task which was assigned Set. 6th and was due Sept. 9th still has not been completed!!

We are about 60 days in since uploaded in Equator and there has been no real movement this month. Buyer is about to walk and unfortunately financing is limited in complex.  Any advice on how to escalate and get attention of the negotiator?!  I have sent messages on Equator, sent a message to a SS Field Manager, etc.

Please help!

Carmel. You need to call. Equator is great but at times we still need to pick up the phone and make the call.
I have called as well to the negotiator, emailed the negotiator, asked reps to send a message requesting a call from neogtiator....everything :(.

Equator escalating is useless in my opinion. Escalate outside of Equator. 60 days is WAY too long!!! ASC is Wells Fargo. Escalate to the office of the President. Also you can try [email protected] which is their escalation team general email. Just state the issue and that you're escalating on time and that you've had zero response from anyone.

Jigsaw is a great place to obtain higher ups email addys and phone #'s too. That's how I started and after escalating 100's of times and closing many files, I've developed a list of excellent contacts.

When I'm on point and touching my files on a daily basis, I'll give a week tops of no response and then it's time to escalate. It's amazing how when you get the file in the right hands how smoother/quicker files go.

Hey Brent, that is what I was thinking as well!  I will try this general escalation team email right now. Do you have the office of the President's contact information? or any other contacts that may help?

Let me know!

Thanks,

Carmel Joseph

Messaged a couple to you. Make sure loan # and last name of borrower is in the subject line.Your simply escalating the file due to time. They will pull the file and assign to someone who will quickly work on it for you.

Thanks so much!  I emailed that generic email you sent in a previous post and I received a call within 15 minutes!  The gentleman ended up knowing the negotiator very well and sat across from them at work.  He provided some info to me and promise to bring it to the assigned negotiators attention in the morning.  Sure enough I received an email from Negotiator with two docs she needed and that once these were received she would complete short-sale!!!  Best news I have received so far!

Thanks for your asisstance and contacts!

You're very welcome! I escalate on 90% of my files. It always works! Take care.
