I was lucky enough to get through randomly ONCE. I have been on hold for 1 minute, 30 minutes, 1 hour, all depending on what time of day it. The best advice I can give is to call the same number (877)824-0976. When prompted for an extension, input '0'. This is the ONLY way that I have been able to get on the line with a live person. So agree with the title, Tiffany.  Miserable and huge time waster! Please tell us if you ever got through to UTLS and if you got your short sale through.  If so, any helpful tips?  I've found, like James, that if you call your assigned negotiator several times a day, they might randomly pick up.  So far I've had mine pick up twice and I felt like I'd won the lottery.  It's the only way I've found to get anything done.  They never respond to voicemails ("Leave a message and I'll return your call within 24 hours." - HA!  I've never had a return call or an answer to my emails.)  So call repeatedly, first thing in the morning is when I've been most successful (twice!  woohoo!) and cross your fingers that for who knows what reason they'll pick up.  Also love that when I tried to escalate via Equator, several of the emails for those up the food chain came back as undeliverable.  And I thought things were bad before I met UTLS!  They're the worst yet!!
