SALE DATE POSTPONEMENT DENIED

Hello Superstars

I put together the perfect short sale package with a contract offer and submitted to the bank today .. A few hours later the bank called me and told the postponement of sale date was denied because it was too late and foreclosure proceedings has started .. This is the first I ever heard of this .. I have a contract offer !! What can I do to convince these folks to move forward ? Thanks for your time and I hope to hear from someone soon ..

What bank is it?
When is the foreclosure date?
