Had approval with SPS, Buyers mortgage took a long time now they are ready to close and SPS won't issue a new approval, and is now countering me 70K over the original approval price

anyone have any contacts here?  I went to the OMBUDSMAN and they couldn't help.  This is totally outlandish.

Crazy!  I had the same thing happen yesterday for $60K over the original approved price.  Were you able to get this resolved?  We called back and talked to another person - not our negotiator - and they are "trying" to help, but we do not know the status.  Thanks ~ Jill
