Hi CJ, Bryant, and Wendy,

I was checking the FAQs on the Equator site a couple hours ago. This is what I found on the Equator Knowledge Base when I typed in "training" (and it isn't going to make our pocketbooks happy).

Paraphrasing here:

Sometimes a 2-hour class will be offered through specific conventions, i.e./e.g. REOMAC & Five Star. For the privilege of learning how to work with the platform, you will be charged $199 pp.

(not paraphrasing here) Sounds like BofA had a hand in how training will be offered and paid for.

On Equator....

One of my seller's tried to manage his own short sale by signing into the system as me, with his contact info. When we tried to make the corrections, I had to sign in with his id (as the agent) and BAM! there it was on the first page....

It also shows up in Equator when you are at the "Upload 3rd Party Authorization" Task

It will look like this:
This is an Agent task to upload the 3rd Party Authorization Letter. Alert for New Agents- please refer to the Education Guide embedded within this task to learn tips on the short sale process
Supporting Documents:

* PDF - Agent Education Guide

The *PDF will be in blue and be a click-able link to the Guide

If anyone is still looking for Equator training...Bank of America has a site that has quides for download, webinars, and other training and tips.

Go to the website below to get the information you need. It seems Bank of America is coming to our NY area to give us updates on Equator and the changes to their short sale process. Check on the website below to see if BOA will be stopping in

you area. Also, Equator Certification training program on line, but you have to be a paid member.
