Deficiency judgments, has anyone had luck getting the verbiage changed to "paid in Full?"

I just received a short sale approval today. The letter states," it's investors MAY pursue deficiency judgment." My sellers were going to let the home go to foreclosure until they received a phone call from BOA telling them a short sale was a better option for them. Any recourse is NOT a good option.   Help!!!!  Any Suggestions?

I bluffed my way through that one time in the recent past. I used the new HAFA guidelines etc. Never picked up the phone, just sent all my rebuffs through equator.com and copies all the parties in the drop-down menu.

Good Luck!
Does your state allow deficiency judgements on foreclosures? Some state do, some don't. We had one seller stand their ground and tell them they would not sign and it was removed.
Thanks Jeanne, I will tell my sellers do the same thing, stand their ground and demand they remove it! We are in California and it's a nonreourse state, we"ll see what they say.
