Posting Sale Date - Fee?

Have a property that has a sale date of Nov 5th. Regions did drive by appraisal and of course it came in over the sky. they want seller to pay for interior. Seller has no $$. In addition to that, if we want to try and postpone, someone has to pay a fee - that fee is $150/week to get it posponed. Has anyone ever ecountered that? Suggestions? Need to make them realized that they are crazy but can't seem to knock any sennse into them.
