I have a client whose husband just passed and luckily he had a life insurance policy in place for her sake. It is a pretty large amount and I wanted to see if anyone has been in this same situation. They ask on Equator if the deceased had life insurance so wanted to see if that money is something that they cannot touch. She needs that money to cover all the debt that he carried and just do not want them to touch it or try and request some.
If anyone has any insight to this that would be greatly appreciated. What should or shouldn't I disclose?
Thanks,
Carmel Joseph
