Help Need A Contact at Freddie to get sale date postponement Thier number had changed and the recording state everyone is in training and to call back at a later date....

I have a deal that is going to sale on Thursday, BOFA is the servicer, I turned this deal in a month ago and was just told today by BOFA that Freddie wont postpone sale date even though the BPO was done today! I call the number listed here and got a recording saying the number has been changed to 1-800-373-3343, when i called it the message states they are dedicated to helping homeowners and that everyone is in training today and to to call back at a different time. Really dedicated hu? BofA claims they have escalated but doubts it will get through to Freddie for postponement approval in time. Does anyone have an email to someone or a better phone number? Thanks!

I just received this from Freddie Mac's 'Borrower Outreach' department:

Thank you for contacting Freddie Mac.  Your request is important to us.

Effective immediately and going forward, if you need assistance with your or your client's loan or REO, please forward your e-mail request to [email protected].

Alternatively, you can call 1-800-373-3343.  You MUST select Option 2 from the menu to be routed to a borrower support specialist who can more immediately address your inquiry.

Please do not e-mail Borrower Outreach as we will no longer be handling borrower cases or other inquiries about workouts/REO.

If you e-mailed Borrower Outreach with dates, flyers, calendars or other information about scheduling foreclosure prevention events, please continue to use the Borrower Outreach mailbox and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Again, thank you for contacting Freddie Mac.

I just called this number abour 30 minutes ago and got an answer.  I was told to expect a call back from the rep that I spoke with.  I will call back if no response in the timeframe that she gave me.
