This hasn't happened to me because I haven't done any Freddie Mac short sales (yet), however, an agent i know told me that she is getting push back from closing agents and attorneys who are refusing to sign the Addendum.
Anyone else getting that?

13. Each signatory agrees to indemnify the Servicer and Freddie Mac for any and all loss resulting from any
negligent or intentional misrepresentation made in the affidavit including, but not limited to, repayment of
the amount of the reduced payoff of the Mortgage
Here's my real estate broker opinion (I am not an attorney and this is not legal advice)
I do not see this as an issue. How it reads to me is that, you can not sue the servicer for mistakes they make. It doesn't say that they they have the right to turn around and demand money from the borrower after they waived the deficiency.
