Has anyone dealt with 5/3rd lately? They just stated that they changed their policy and no longer accept written authorization for a 3rd party. How are they going to review short sale documents if they can't speak to the seller's Realtor? I've handled many 5/3rd files and this is the first I've heard of this "policy change". Just looking for some feedback to see if anyone else is running into this.

Are they accepting verbal authorizations? Never heard of a bank not willing to speak to an authorized 3rd party. I'd double check that one.
