Buyers Side of a Short Sale

I submitted an offer a month ago on a home that is listed as a Short Sale. We haven't heard a peep from the bank since we submitted our offer. How can I find out who has my file and where it is in "The Process"? I understand that there are two mortgages on the property, but both are held by Fifth Third. I was told Fifth Third has increased their staff to accommodate the increase volume lately, but I just don't understand why it takes so long. HELP!!!

I would have your agent get an update from the listing agent. If your agent is also the listing agent they should have an update for you!
