Folks, we got to closing having to pay a $2500 cash contribution. When we sat down the closing cost amounted to $3900 and some change. The buyer agreed to pay $1500 and we agreed to pay $1000 because they wanted the house. We left the closing and called Fannie Mae. They said, we needed to call the MI Company. MI Company said they dont talk to homeowners. We need to go back to BOA. Got in touch with BOA and they sent us in circles. Eventually, the guy at Fannie Mae gave us the $1500 and we closed. I could NOT believe it was happening. My agent was a waste of time. I negotiated the whole deal from the beginning, got us an approval.  And then renegotiated at the closing table and got an approval IMMEDIATELY. Even the closer said that we would NOT get a letter of approval before the end of the day. But, once again, we pulled out of there only having to pay $1000. We are going to send the homeowners a gift certificate to a fine restaurant because if they suffered like we did through this drama, they deserve something. Wheh! Finally Closed!
