I have been begging for assistance with this short sale. We were close to receiving
approval and we lost the buyer due to health issues. The file was closed
out in equator. I received a new buyer (in August) and I tried to reopen the file and
postpone the sale date for September 19th. I spoke to customer service with Bank of America and the rep stated I had to start from the beginning on this file. I also spoke to a manager with Bank of America who stated I did not have to reinstate the file in equator but could have the Freddie Mac team
with BOA place a postponement and have the file move forward from where it
left off…. (Not true!).
I recently requested assistance with an upper manager with Bank of America, who advised me to re-initiate the file in equator. I did so. I have a cash offer in hand. The file has been stagnant in equator. The file is still in "initiating stages”. I understand the file has to be well established in the system in order to successfully postpone a sale date. I have a cash offer for market value. The homeowner has called Bank of America several times and has not received any assistance. I am so fed up with the Incompetent and unprofessional Assistance I continue to receive when I call customer service and the lack of communication from the negotiator. Recent Task is requesting dates for “disability income and when client will return to work”…these dates do not apply to my client’s situation. I cannot complete the task unless I lie and place a random date in there. Should I??? Sale date approaching is making me really nervous!!

Judith, last week I finally relented, and set up a Tweet Account, so that I could Tweet B of A HelpDesk. I received a call back within an hour, and the powers to be were in full action responding to all my requests that went unanswered for three months. It's the BEST way to get the attention you need on this file. Their handle is: @BofA_Help
Make sure your tweeter account is not set to protect your tweets or they will not hear you.
