Hi Superstars, I'm working my first short sale with Ocwen I'm in the process of Re-submitting the short Sale packet to Ocwen. They claim I didn't submit additional documentation within 10-days of their request- which is not true I did in 3-days of getting their request by fax and email. I appreciate "any" pointers on how to best to work a short sale with Ocwen. Is it better to call trying to get updates on the file or by email?
Thanks,
Ludora

I always send the initial package to [email protected], referencing the last name and loan #. If you don't get a call from someone within 3 days, call their customer service number and speak with India. Ensure your closing costs (excluding pro-rated property taxes) are below 8% of the purchase price or they will kick it out. Good luck!
Just closed an OCWEN deal, we decided to call twice a week, every week. That was the only way to get the needed updates and doc requests. Plus we always call to make sure all docs received the day after faxed or emailed. Happens all the time even if you have fax/email confirmation, the lender can not find the documents. Good Luck!
