Trying to buy SS w/OCWEN mortgage . . . could really use advice!

Althought I'm a realtor it's been years since I sold and a SS is out of my scope of knowledge so I'm buying thru an agent and need your help.

Feb 13 she submitted my offer and for the next two months they repeatedly asked her to fax info they had, kept her on hold alot and generally she seemed to get nowhere...much of what I've already read on this forum.  The HUD had been submitted twice as well as my proof of funds.

 

After I sent her excerpts from this website the seller finally called the bank and got some "good" numbers and I was immediately asked to submit a current proof of funds and she a current HUD form.  Today when I asked if she had had anything happen in the last week to indicate a new feeling of progress she said she had talked to them and so far nothing.

Any suggestion as to how to deal with this company??

Will they work with me since The only info I have is an address? I'm not the realtor or seller... Since I made this post they called my realtor to set up an appt w/a negotiator this week. Once you got ahold of the email Omsbudman people how long did it take to get the approval and then close? Another problem I worry about is the seller paid 295k and has a 2nd mort w/same lender. The BOP is 175,000 which is in oar but will the bank be reasonable? The realtor commented on my offer that she wasn't sure the seller would sign off on it? Will she be bringing $ to the closing table? Thx for your reply!

Escalate like mad, blog like mad, create havoc for them.  Your Agent sounds too nice to me!

How do I escalate? I have no loan # since I'm not the agent. Where do I blog so they will see it? My realtor is quite happy to be aggressive but has not been since she's had so many other short sales take a long time. NOW she knows they are a problem and is pressuring them, she did get a call back to set up an appt with a negotiator this week but from what I read that's only the beginning of the next phase of WAITING and more WAITING as Harry pointed out.
