I have an approval letter from Wells Fargo, due to close near the end of March. The inspection revealed termites yesterday and some baseboard damage from them. The seller is due to receive $3,000 relocation allowance. Is it possible for the owner to use part of the allowance to pay for treatment? The bank has told me that the net on the approval letter is what they are expecting, so I am not sure if I should even approach the bank with a treatment request.
Thanks for any help.

I say, approach the bank for the termite treatment. They will want to sell the house and make the sale go through. But allow the seller to get involved to all the communication with the bank- communication is the key to understanding.
