Rural Housing Direct Loan Short Sale

Can anyone share their experience conducting a Rural Housing Direct Loan short sale?

Important note for clarification: Direct Loans are the subsidized and taxpayer funded loans that are issued straight from the Department of Agriculture. Uncle Sam services the loan.

Rural Housing Direct Loans are not the same as the more common Rural Housing Guaranteed Loans that are originated and serviced by a bank, credit union, or state housing agency.
