Does anyone have advise about getting though to anyone at RBC Bank short sale? I am getting nowhere with their S/S toll free number. Sat on hold for 1.5 hours pressing 1 over and over and over again. I've submitted the 89 page package 3 times. Once on 12/10 via their fax. Then on 12/24 they suggested I do inter-office mail through a local branch. Then 3rd on 1/6 direct email to a supervisor. Still nothing. (Sorry for venting) I just need advice

89 pages!! Seriously? My apologies in advance, but that is way too many pages. Customer service peeps loathe scrolling so many pages through to find a doc, this is why they say they don't have a doc. Submission pkgs should be 35 to 40 pages, only give what they are asking for. Been through 34 out of 34 and it works for me.

The local interoffice thing is BS. Don't ever succumb to that, it will only delay your file.

I submitted a file on Jan 7th, got a BPO two weeks later. RBC has only 7 negotiators with about 100 files each. You have to find a way to get your file from second drawer to first and then onto the desk.

Here, try these #'s:

Main 800-236-8872
SS dept 866-777-2179 option 1
Loss Mit 888-404-2265

Be sweet, play dumb, make friends.

What # did you fax the file to?

Hang up after 5 or 10 minutes and redial.

Email me if you need.
Thanks Pattilyn: I have those numbers, and spoke with someone last Friday. She hope to have approval by this week. As for my 89 pages, well it's what they asked for. When I send 4 months of bank statements (that was 40 pages of the fax).
I am always very polite. I only curse and throw a fit "AFTER" I get off the hold/phone.
I will keep you posted.

Do you have fax numbers for RBC... short sale package line and authorization line?
Richard ramsey is head of collections 252-454-8297
Fax 252-454-4865
If this is a loan they claim to have "bought" from amsouth or regions ask them to send you your original file
They have insurance available to them but refuse to file it unless they are called on it
