What can anyone tell me about a possible deficiency judgement, as anyone had this happen? I executed a short sale with my lender Aurora for a substantial amount of deficiency, recieved a W4 and paid taxes against the deficiency. My understanding is that they have 5 years to slap a judgement on me for the decficiency they allowed - but how probable is this?
