The homeowner no longer reside at the address anymore. I'm positive that she has done a change of address, but thus far has not received anything from the lender.
At times servicing rights can be postponed from being transferred. Typically negotiators, especially at Ocwen, won't know about this. Typically only escalation contacts are aware that this may be possible. Has your homeowner received a good-bye letter from Ocwen yet stating the service release date?
Yes, the short sale has been approved now for two weeks, and the HUD-1 for about a week. The lender continues to call because they want the loan to actually close by the end of January. I made an error in the message. The file is in their pipeline to be transferred, no scheduled date to release the files yet. The negotiator said that he will contact me immediately to notify us of the date, but they will not be able to postponed the transfer. I only hope that the buyer's lender is ready to close before the transfer date.
