My Profile
I can help you if you are considering a short sale and your property is in the Portland metropolitan area.

I am the principal broker of PDX Experts, Real Estate, LLC. For the most part we are engaged in short sales in the Portland metro area.

Short sales is our main expertise and for sure our specialty. Some agents specialize in specific neighborhoods, others in specific types of properties. We specialize in Short Sales.

I did my first short sale in 2003. At that short sales were almost unheard of. I was one of the few people in Portland good at this subject. It was a very different world too. Now short sales are common place and most homeowners have know about them.

I believe that a successful short sale is a the result of professional team effort coupled with the seller's and the bank's full cooperation.

When you work with me, you don't only have to my service, but access to my complete professional network: title company, specialized escrow officer, real estate accountant, real estate attorney, etc. So if you have any question or concern, if I can't directly help you, I can for sure point you in the right direction.

For more information about me go to www.PDXExperts.com or call me at 971-222-3734

Posted on February 19, 2014 at 8:43am 0 Comments

Understanding a short sale approval letter is a critical skill for a real estate agent, homeowner selling on a short sale, investor buying on a short sale, and anyone affected by a particular short sale transaction.

Typical "Short Sale or Not" Questions and Answer - Portland

Posted on February 19, 2014 at 7:58am 0 Comments

Because I am very active in Short Sales in the Portland, OR metro area, I get all kinds of questions by email and phone.

As much as possible, I try to keep the questions and answer in email form.  One of the most common questions I get is:

"should I short sale or not".  My answer is almost always "it depends".  Basically, whether a short sale is a good strategy to unload a property, or not, depends on the specific situation.  The email sequence below is a good example of…

Portland Short Sale Sample Transaction - Lower End Property

Posted on January 31, 2014 at 8:57am 0 Comments

Thanks for following my blog posts.  As you know, I do short sales in the Portland area.  This is about a lower end short sale property in Portland.

Back in May of last year (2013) a lady called me.  She and her mother wanted to sell a property on a short sale.  I usually don't take transactions under $200K.  It is not because I am above that.  It is because, I have calculated that I may take too much work and not make the hourly fee worthwhile.

For Portland, a…

Doing a Short Sale in Portland

I do a good bit of short sales here in the Portland, Oregon area.  I want to share with you my experience working with Resurgent Loan Servicing.

As of this moment, I only have one deal with Resurgent Loan Servicing.  I am supposed to get my short sale approval tomorrow at the latest.  Lets see.

So far this is how it went.

I got this short sale listing back in June 2013.  I had to discount the property several…
