"is it fannie mae or freddie mac?  If so, you can make them pay 6k but you would have to escalate it through fannie mae or freddie mac. "

"My 1st is with US Bank.   They say they will only allow 10% of the 2nd's balance to be paid.   The balance on the 2nd is $38,000.   That's where they get the $3800 from.   "

What percentage of what 21st wanted did your client end up giving to them? And it was the BUYER, not the Seller, who gave them the money?

I'm in one now that's been a nightmare. On our third Buyer and 21st wants over $24,000. Fannie Mae will give them $6,000. The Seller doesn't have it. The Buyer isn't going to pay that. 

Any hints?
