A client of mine has a business next door to a falling-down multi-family home & wants to purchase it. The home was on the market about a year ago as a short sale - didn't sell. The agent has disappeared, as have the owners. Was able to track down a law firm that accepts rent for the one tenant, but he won't return calls. Also bumped into a gentleman who was visiting the house to scope out boarding up empty units -- he gave me a supposed B of A Dallas # that's a dead end. Meanwhile, the house does not come up on RealtyTrac.com; the town says taxes are paid up. Now what? - RP Baldwin
