Broker/Investor I worked as an agent/broker/investor in Atlanta starting in 1993 after a 25 year career with IBM. Worked for Coldwell Banker, RE/MAX, and Chapman Hall. Moved to Florida in 2005 and transferred my broker's license to Florida as a sole proprietor. I was also a certified residential appraiser, but I let that lapse because it was too much trouble for too little work. I was trained as a home inspector in Atlanta, and worked part time as a handyman. I owned several rental properties in Atlanta, and liquidated when I moved to Florida. Sold my home in Atlanta in 2005 at the top of the real estate market - lucky me!
