Since 1969, Montell Currin, Jr. has been committed to doing the right thing. He served in the United States Air Force, where he received the Air force Commendation Medal for his service in Vietnam. After leaving the service, Montell graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a BBA degree in finance: while working at First Savings and Loan as a Divisional Vice President over seven branches. Montell was formerly associated with Merrill Lynch as stock broker, where he was honored as Black Achiever of the Year in 1985. He was one of the founders and partners at Retirement Plans of America and, most recently with Inter-City Services, Inc., as Business Service Manager specializing in Veterans Affairs. In addition, Montell teaches financial literacy in stocks as a community service and enjoy watching all sports, travel, music and spending time with his wife and son that lives in Bermuda.
