I've been representing buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of short sale listings since the very beginning of this short sale trend in 2006. My first seller had 3 mortgages and his wife had just died after obtaining a 4th loan - a HELOC since shopping was the only thing that made her feel better. After tackling that one successfully, I was ready for the challenge of more. Although these sales are tough, I feel I owe it to the consumers to assist them in the tough ones as well as the easy ones. Sometimes they are more appreciative after the tough ones, so there are great rewards!
