In today's confusing real estate market it is especially critical to work with an agent who has knowledge and experience on their side, particularly if you owe more on your home than it's worth and you don't know what to do. I helped my first client successfully obtain a short payoff with their lender so that they could sell their home and move on with their life back in the mid 90s, a time when the term SHORT SALE was largely unknown.
