A number of months ago you had posted on my "wall" in regards to a short sale that I was on the verge of completing with USAA. I sincerely apologize for the extreme delay, blogging is not yet second nature to me, nor is checking the site.
In any event, I am thinking of you and your experience with your short sale and with USAA. Have you had any luck? Are you closed? Unsecured note?
The way mine finally played.... the first was released in full for about 33% of what was owed. USAA however turned the entire 100% of the balance into an unsecured note payable over the next 10 years. They were so generous to give 0% interest... but whatever! I was appalled at USAA's negotiators and their supervisors. I found them to be unreasonable and verged on unethical, considering their verbal commitments never did correspond with their written approvals.
I would love to hear back from you. Your story.
Often times we need a sounding board and I am happy to be yours :-)
