Henry - Just checking.....did you try putting the extra 12K 2nd lender payoff on the buyer's side of the HUD? Generally BOA doesn't care what is on the buyer side of the HUD....at least, they have not rejected the final when I have submitted it that way.
I just closed one with Chase (2nd) my sellers owed them 128K all Chase would give them was $2500 and we closed. We are in Calif and if they agree to do the short sale they can't request money from a buyer or a seller.
