Jim,

Mine was transferred from BAC Aug 2nd short sale was finally approved 10-14

You will have to fax M & T directly the complete short sale package and keep calling

Have an FHA short sale that was sold to M&T by Bank of America in early August. ATP was issued by BofA and offer submitted to BofA before the sale. Now M&T is doing nothing. No new notes have been added to the file since the negotiator was assigned two months ago.  Anybody else having similar problems or have any suggestions? This is my first adventure with M&T.

Where do I find the third party authorization letter for M&T Bank? Or can I just use a generic one?

Does anyone have a contact or someone who is at least responsive at M&T?  I email my negotiator daily with no response as well as voicemails with no response.  I have also left a message for the supervisor (no response).  I called in and was told there is no escalations there and all I could do was to keep emailing and calling....any suggestions??

Just called M&T Bank for a short sale package. I was told that I need to send a third party authorization before the would give me access to download the forms. The FAX only number for the authorizatino is 866.409.4642

thank Jill! You've that closer's number? I have tried Amy, the escalation email, even Mr. Quinn's office. Bayview is impossible, and can't believe they are earning a dollar doing this--they are highly unprofessional. No responses for two weeks. Sigh. Not my first short sale, but def. my first problematic one in a couple of years.

Kylee, I dealt with many of the same people mentioned below, including Claudia Navarro who was nearly impossible to reach, Madeline Rivera who was only slightly more accessible and Amy Stevens (Stephens?) who is supervisory to both of them.

Bonnie Beckman was more responsive, did a fair job of keeping me up to date, and our closer, once we got to that was great.  I believe it was the same guy that Sonya mentioned below.
