Just got Wells Fargo approval exactly FOUR WEEKS after package faxed!

Stephanie- I agree form is ridiculous! Looks like it overrides our contract, how nice!

I just saw that silly closing date extension form for the first time on a WF. Besides being insane to even want to extend the time for acceptance...I can't even figure out what it actually DOES. Does it override our short sale addendum that deals with timing? What were they thinking? Also saw the arms length form for the first time. This hasn't been on my past WF transactions.

Stephanie - They ended up telling me she had 30 calendar days from the upload of final docs, so I call again on Aug 10. Wells is starting to sound like BOFA when they change their story every time you call :)

Hi Stephanie- I had my last negotiator tell me I could just email her the new documents when the last buyer defaulted.

Has anyone had any luck with having an approval transferred to a new buyer quickly with WF without having to go through too much waiting? We have a buyer that we just got a contract on that already has an approval but the first buyer has disappeared. I hate being on this side of the transaction on a SS.

Wendy, How did that go. We were told in the past that they don't have "supervisors" that the negotiators answer to the investors at WF. We spoke with someone calling themselves a "marketing manager" (I think that was the term they used) but she was able to get a file reassigned for us.

Wells file with no negotiator response, even after two escalations, since July 10... now on hold waiting for rep to get supervisor:)

I guess so. Too big to fail? BAH! I say too big to function!
